Perion is an experienced company offering a diverse array of services to many clients across a broad spectrum, particularly in the area of online cross-platform marketing. They deliver data-driven online advertising and search solutions to brands and publishers. The company helps brands capture consumer attention via beautiful creative and proprietary ad formats served across top-tier publishers, enables developers to optimize search traffic and generate incremental revenue, drives marketing campaigns and demand generation at scale across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat, also delivering powerful and engaging mobile and desktop apps directly to consumers.

Challenge

Previously Perion tried to extend their team on their own – they managed to hire 14 people in a year and a half. However, the company realized that the time spent on recruiting and onboarding was too long. So this issue was brought to SD Solutions. Perion asked for assistance in arranging and managing their R&D department.

Our first challenge was to assist Perion in finding capable staff that could provide them with high-quality service. Since Perion is a successful and constantly growing b2b company, it is important for the personnel not only to be equipped with the right skills but also to be able to work in a dynamic environment.

The second challenge was connected with Smilebox – a Perion’s daughter company. We had to hire developers with different technology stack in a very short time – 2 months.

Solution

We used our wide network to connect with third party recruiters to identify potential talented professionals who matched the needed qualifications. After that, we used our interview process to identify those best suited for the different positions needed to be filled. Then we recruited and onboarded individuals with skills ranging from development, art, and design as well as those with marketing backgrounds.

Outcome

We were able to recruit 12 outstanding individuals in just 2 months. We’ve organized their working process so that they could make a very positive impact on Perion and its daughter companies. Currently, we are building a Customer Support department for Smilebox – another one of Perion’s subsidiaries, while recruiting developers for other companies. After our highly successful cooperation, Perion reached out to SD Solutions again. This time the company asked for assistance in arranging the extended teams for their other daughter companies – MMR and Undertone.
